BNB FRIEND OF THE WEEK - Jomac Enroe

1. First off, tell us who you are, who you be, what you do...

Jomac. A Drafter/Computer Aided Designer or CAD Operator by trade.  Plus, a everyday dude who just so happen to have a high appreciation for music to the point he'll often create his own. 

2. What started your music career?

Always been a music fan since the early 80's.  The likes of: LL Cool J, Kool Moe Dee, Doug E Fresh, and Slick Rick all pulled my attention to the culture. Plus, I was always listening in to my older cousin Aychell (now Blackberry Jones)make beats and write rhymes since we were little.  Practically all my life I grew up around the same 1st cousin with him being like my big brother.  Honestly, I would always try to write rhymes or rhyme since I can recall...but I just got started making beats only a few years ago.  I was living on 16th St. North West DC where the same older cousin soon moved in and turned the whole living room into a Studio. We was the loudest unit in the whole building too. When he'll leave out, I'll play on the ASR-X and other equipment he'll have around.  Ha, it got to the point he kicked me off his equipment and directed me to some 'Starter' equipment of my own.  Been making my own eversince then.     

3. What inspires you to do what you do?

Both the presence of good music and the lack of it inspires me.  Reason being:  Good music makes you want to hear more...so you create.  The lack of good sounds, does the same, makes you want to create what you want to hear.

4. Tell us one secret, one truth, and one lie..

I love hearing different patterns anbd sounds normally not used. - Truth.

I'm a seasoned Pioneer who been making music for a real long time. - Lie

5 If you could listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

From Artz Unknown by Kankick.  When I first heard it, outside of ATCQ, that was a full music experience w/ authentic beats and honest rhymes.

6. If you would win 10 million dollars, what would you do or buy?

I'd buy every family member a home and put some away for my kids and my little cousins to go to school OR use it towards building on their crafts or trades. 

7. If you were not doing music, what would you be doing?

I'd still be getting up at 3:00am, Commuting 2 hours to go to work everyday to make ends meat.

8. To BLING or not to BLING?

Ha, I'd Bling only within.  Outside, I'll have to keep it regular.

9. What artists have you had the pleasure and honor working with? and who would you LIKE to work with?

I worked with: Arablak, Hijrah, Dex RiffRaff McGriff, Jonwayne, Re:source, Mumz Medina, Slum Pritt, ELOHSEE, Humble Just, and possibly Eagle Nebula and Omun (of the Remainz Crew). Would like to work with anybody who is honest to thier message or craft. 

10. Any additional info, upcoming shows, projects, etc...

Right now having a few beats mastered just in case, but still keepin within the dirty sound.   Other than that, it's work, music, and whatever project may come up.  Oh, Ha...can't forget a possible Eartha Kitt project with BlacknBling.
