This is the newest from LA's own Ahmad. Yep! THAT Ahmad. His latest album called "The Death Of Me" is a long awaited project, and this new song/video is a definite winner. Check out his site at http://www.weclap.com and keep up with everything Ahmad has going on.
Got an email recently from V.A.S. in the UK. This kid has got pizzazz! I checked out the video, and I totally dig it. Its not in the vein of BNB's usual steez, but V.A.S. really appeals to me. Check out the video, its kinda on some snap music "dougie" type jawn, with kids dancing in fresh outfits and the whole nine yards:

check out the new video from artist Outasight called "Catch Me If You Can". BNB homie Greg The Dude directed this video, and the song is super dope. Makeup by yours truly, kyLA :)
In case yall missed this, DJ Babu (aka @djbabuforeal) has hit the viral scene with a new short film series to promote his latest release, Beat Tape Vol. 2 (out now on Nature Sounds) . This one is called "WTF?!" and is an introduction to all of Babu's homies (who you already know if you know hip-hop).
You can catch the rest of the series on Babu's YouTube page, and you can catch him at Carbon on most Wednesdays alongside Mr. Choc and ByzeOne at their event [appropriately / tentatively] called "WTF?! WEDNESDAYS" and of course, all over the globe being the big-time DJ that he is. :)
The homie eLZhi of Slum Village (if you are, by some sick joke, not familiar with this Detroit lyricist, watch below and solve that problem) just finished and released his video for the song "Deep" of of his mixtape The Leftovers (www.elzhi.com to download).
It was shot by up and coming director Gerard Victor (also from Detroit, GerardVictor.com), and was produced by BlackNBling favorite Black Milk.
It's safe to say that this is not a video you should miss, and not a movement you should sleep on.
Get familiar.
Now that that's out the way, for anyone who did not attend (or anyone who wants to relive) the Slum Village / J Dilla Tribute @ Nightlife, it is my suggestion that you listen to the audio recordings from what was one of the best nights in Hip-Hop I've been witnessf to in some time.
The highly anticipated music video debut from Shafiq Husayn's album "En A Free Ka" is here. "Lil Girl" is the albums first single to include visual representation, and the video is absolutely beautiful. Directed, edited and shot by Greg Ponstingl, with production by Rocio "Wyldeflower" and Andrew Lojero, "Lil Girl" is an amazing piece of art. The song is a standout track on Shafiq's album and features the vocals of (previous BNB Friend of the Week) FATIMA.
