I know I was MIA the last week.
I got real sick from Coachella, and all that hot ass weather.
Anyway, I'm back with some tunes to bump in the whip for the spring time at the
beach.
1. DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince - Summertime. This is THE SUMMER ANTHEM. This song belongs at every backyard BBQ/Boogie/Pool Party.
2. 2Pac - To Live & Die In LA. Classic LA Record. Gotta show love to one of the most "emotional artists of our time" (c) Def Sound.
3. Murs - LA. "From Mid-City to South Central to The Hills of Alta Dena" This song reps for anybody within the greater los angeles area. Rock The Bells is just a couple of months away!
4. H.O.P.E - Nightlife. Watch out for this record! The production is crazy. This is for the cool kids and hopefully the grown folks can vibe to it too. Perfect nighttime party music.
5. Buckshot - Wassup With U. Go cop the Formula! Curtis Mayfield is theme music for lovers, pushers, and spring time. 9th Wonder flipped the sample so nicely.
