"Originally, we planned to give free scoops away just to those who voted. We found out afterwards that certain laws may not allow it. So instead we're celebrating our election with a national party. Even though we're giving scoops away to everyone, regardless of whether they vote or not, we hope they still take part in their civic duty."
2. Krispy Kreme is giving away free donuts!
However, for this one you have to show proof of voting to get the free star-shaped donut with red, white, and blue sprinkles. Bring your "I Voted!" sticker to any Krispy Kreme store, get your donut, throw some Dilla in your stereo and party for Obama!
