House Party 2008 : Best night of the summer so far...

Last night I had the pleasure of being at THE party of the summer. No, it wasnt at Les Deux or The Standard or any of those "super clubs", it was at the home of a few good people in LA. Picture this: a mid-90's House Party style get together with ALLLL the homies from around town, great DJ's, snacks, and a BYOB policy...this was way better than any jiggyman club in the city. Everyone at the spot had a great time, listening to all our favorite songs (new and old). BNB Sound System DJs Val The Vandle and PUDGEmcee were among the cast of selectors who kept the party rockin into the wee hours of the morning, along with a bunch of other party monsters who kept it hype the entire night. There were at least 150-200 people that came through to celebrate life at the party; and everyone seemed to have a blast. I got to connect and build with a few homies that I hadnt gotten to link with in a minute, and made some new friends as well.

Besides this being a dope party, I want to speak on this event because of its purity. It wasnt at a big club, there was no guestlist, no one was "chosen" to get into this party. It was just FUN. and honest. and real.
