RIP - Frosty Freeze (RSC) &KL (Screwball)

This past week, we lost 2 Hip Hop greats.....Frosty Freeze of the Rock Steady Crew & KL of the group Screwball. Just like to give my respects.......

B-Boy & Dance Afficinados might remember Frosty Freeze as a member of the legendary Rock Steady Crew and as one of the dancers during the famous short but exciting Breakdancing scene in the movie "Flashdance". He was the B-Boy who did a move called the "Sucide" where the dancer actually jumps in the air and falls on his back. He was definitely a pioneer and an innovator of the B-Boy movement.

KL was an emcee that was part of the group, "Screwball". He was a well-exceptional emcee that was droppin street bangers like "Hostyle". He and the group were signed to Tommy Boy Records in the mid 90's and worked with great producers like EZ Elpee and Dj Premier. This is what the great Dj Premier had to say:

"FOR THE TRUE HIP HOP HEADS THAT KNOW THIER HISTORY ABOUT MC'S THAT COME OUTTA QUEENSBRIDGE...KL OF THE BONAFIED GROUP SCREWBALL, DIED YESTERDAY OF AN ASTHMA ATTACK.
HIS HARDCORE DELIVERY AND RASPY VOICE WAS WELL KNOWN IN MANY CIRCLES OF RAW GUTTER LYRICS AND THE OTHER MEMBERS(Blaq Poet, Q'ran, and Hostyle) HAVE ALL MADE NAMES FOR THEMSELVES AS SOLOISTS AS WELL AS KL...AS SOON AS I GET DETAILS, I WILL BLAST OUT THE INFO FOR ANY OF YOU THAT IS INTERESTED IN SEEING HIM ONE LAST TIME...HE IS ALREADY UP IN GHETTO HEAVEN, SO HIS
MUSIC WILL LIVE THRU ALL OF US THAT LOVE HIM"
